Students from across the University of Exeter will be trekking the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable children. Over the course of 2 memorable weeks, they will journey through valleys, up to high villages made predominantly out of mud brick, and ultimately ascend up to the summit of Mount Toubkal – North Africa’s highest peak at 4167m. This incredible mountain range spreads over half the Mahgreb, with the chance to explore the rocky gorges and high altitude settlements that have populated this area for centuries.

By the end of this incredible journey, you will have not only raised vital funds for vulnerable children and completed an incredible challenge, but Hope for Children will have helped you develop a unique understanding of a charity that gives children the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Hope For Children

Hope for Children is an international charity that passionately believes every child has the right to a happy, healthy and positive childhood.

Almost half of the world’s children are vulnerable and living in poverty. We are changing this by making a safe and fulfilling childhood a reality for more of the world’s children.

We are improving their access to education and healthcare, empowering their families to support themselves whilst developing their confidence and self-esteem. Most importantly we are giving them hope.
